About Anatolia Donkeys
Anatolia Donkeys are also known as Brown Donkeys and arernmainly found throughout Turkey. They are usually black and gray.
Anatolia Donkeys date back beyond the Ottoman Empire; theyrnwere used alongside mules and horses to transport goods along rivers, steeprnslopes, and rocky terrain. Most often they were used by peasants to transport goodsrnbefore the roads and bridges were built. Today they are still extensively usedrnin the East Anatolia Region and Northeastern part ofrnBlack Sea Coast in the more mountainous areas where the donkey’srnsurefootedness is essential.
