rnrnHill Radnor Sheep are a native hill or mountain breed mostrncommonly found in the Border counties running from the North of Powys down tornSouth West Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. It is a heavy breed which has goodrnbody length and width in its hind quarters, standing on well set legs with anrnabundance of bone. At birth the lambs are full of vitality, exceptionally wellrncoated and gain excellent body weight. Lambing percentages vary under differentrnconditions but the breed can easily average around 155%. The Hill Radnor is arnhealthy breed free from many of the contagious and hereditary diseases whichrnoften affect other breeds.
