Racka sheep are a unique Zackel-type breed that originatedrnin Hungary. Both ewes and rams have long spiral shaped horns. rnrnThe cork-screw horns protrude almost straight upward fromrnthe top of the head. Mature males may have horns as long as two feet or more.rnThe minimum standard length is given as 50 cm (20 inches) for rams and 30 cmrn(12-15 inches) for ewes.
rnrnThey are raised for milk, wool, and meat production. Theyrnare hardy often used in crossbreeding due to its ability to pass thisrnsurvivability to its offspring.
