Mongolian Pheasants, also known as Common Pheasants, are a species of pheasant native to the grasslands and forests of Central Asia and Mongolia. They are prized for their striking appearance, which includes a distinctive iridescent green, blue, and purple plumage in males and a more muted brown plumage in females.

In the wild, Mongolian Pheasants inhabit grasslands and other areas with light vegetation, where they feed on a variety of foods including seeds, insects, and other small animals. They are known to be hardy birds that can survive in a range of conditions, and are typically seen in small groups or alone.
